How to Create the ICSConnection and test the ICS connection?

Login into ICS using required credentials below page will open

Then click on connections and then click on create

Once you click on Create. Create connection adapter page will open.

You can select any adapter which you want to create connection. Here I want to create connection for RightNow so I am searching for RightNow Adapter and selecting the same.

 

 Enter the following connection information and Click on Create.

 

Field	Enter
Connection Name	Oracle RightNow Test
Identifier	Nothing to enter. Automatically generated from the connection name:  ORACLE_RIGHTNOW_TEST
Role	Trigger and Invoke
Description	This connection is for Right Now user creation
Version	Nothing to enter. Use the default value of 01.00.0000.

Click Add Contact and enter the administrator’s email address. This is optional. 
Click Configure Connectivity to configure the WSDL URL.  

Click on Configure Credentials and enter the username and password.

 

Once this is done now you can save test the connection. You see the Flow Progress Indicator % of integration also as below ..It should be 100% then only we can say that connection is successfully done. 

Based on % and error given when test time you can do modification here in this case I given password wrongly …I corrected it and now you can see 100%.

Now you click on test. Now you can see test is successful.
